Activities for all the family
The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Museum is committed to improving access to its Museum and Archives for all.
In particular, we are keen to use the educational potential of collections to facilitate formal and informal learning.
Visits to the Museum
Special programmes are available for educational visits involving tours of the Museum.
Our programmes are adapted to the age of the group and include, dressing up in period uniforms, learning from primary sources, object handling, quizzes about artefacts on display and games relating to the history of The Regiment.
We are also happy to provide resources to schools for outreach sessions in the classroom. Speak with our Education Officer to arrange.
