Silver toothpick holder in the form of a mongoose presented to the Officers of the 93rd Sutherland Highlanders in 1879 by 2nd Lieutenant E.P. Brooke on his commission into the Regiment.

Action Man toy dressed in the uniform of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. Made in 1970 as part of the Action Man’s “Famous Regiments” series.
Battle damaged Bible
Bible damaged by a bullet which was used by Private William McGregor 2nd Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. The bullet passed through the bible and killed William on the 28th February 1917.

Regimental bugle used by members of D Company (from Dunoon) of the (5th Volunteer) Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders from 1883 until 1908 when the unit was retitled 8th Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders when the modern Territorial Army was formed from the old county volunteer units. It continued to be used by the 8th Battalion throughout WW1.

Silver snuff mull spoon, rake and silver mounted deer’s foot. Presented to the Sergeant’s mess of the Royal Renfrew Militia by the Adjutant, Captain Holloway.

18th Century key
18th Century key and padlock for the swing bar of the outer entrance gate at Stirling Castle. Later used during the welcoming ceremony for Royal visitors to the Castle. They key is presented to the Royal person by the hereditary keeper who then touches the acknowledging the importance of the visit.
Presentation brooch in the form of a 91st Argyllshire Highlanders Officers plaid brooch. Wedding present from the Officers of the Regiment to Princess Louise with officers names inscribed on the back, 1871.
