Donate To Us

How we use your donation

Less than half the annual cost of operating the Museum is covered by guaranteed income.  Your generous support is therefore vital to allow us to preserve the collection and operate the Museum as a lasting tribute to those who served in the Regiment, as well as to undertake our education and community engagement activities.

Donate

You can support us by:

  • Giving us a donation
  • Becoming a Guardian of the Museum
  • Fundraising for us
  • Leaving us a legacy

We use your donations to help maintain the collection and undertake our Museum education programme.

A recent example of how donated funds are used is our handling boxes which allow us to reach audiences throughout Scotland with hands on activities.

  • £40 buys the equipment to transport handling items safely to schools and community groups.
  • £70 is the average cost of providing a school group with a hands on, interactive museum workshop.
  • £50 is the average cost of each object in the handling boxes.

Getting close to original and replica objects is a memorable experience which can bring the history of The Argylls to life. Help us show participants in our programme just how exciting history can be!
