The Regiment

The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (Princess Louise's) was created under the Childers Reforms in 1881 by the amalgamation of the 91st Argyllshire Highlanders (raised 1794) and 93rd Sutherland Highlanders (raised 1799) but traces its history back to the raising of the Stirlingshire Militia in 1639.
The Regimental Association

To foster esprit de corps among all ranks past and present, the prevention or relief of poverty, the advancement of health, the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
The Museum

The Museum’s mission is: To preserve, display and interpret for all time the historical records and material culture of The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders in order to perpetuate the memory of past and present deeds and men of the Regiment.
