Museum Trust – About us – Our Purpose
The advancement of the education of the public by the provision of a Regimental Museum comprising of the existing collection with such other objects, or collections as from time to time may be acquired.
To make grants to institutions bodies or associations whose functions including making provisions for the health, welfare, sporting activities, education, and employment in civilian life and any other purposes of members or ex-members and the families of members of the Regiment or its successor in the Army List.
The aim of the Regimental Museum, as an integral part of the rich heritage of the nation, is to preserve, display and interpret for all time the historical records and material culture of The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders in order to perpetuate the memory of past and present deeds and men of the Regiment.
