The draw was held on 12th October 2011 by Museum Committee Members (see image above).The winner will be notified by post.  No purchase is necessary for entry into the draw; entry is only valid if it is handed into our Museum Shop in person. Each year we run a free prize draw competition. The next competition will be held from July to September, 2012. Competition sheets will be available at the entrance to the Museum.

The draw will be held in October 2012; the winners will be notified by post and the results will be posted below. No purchase is necessary for entry into the draw. For further information please contact the Museum.

Behind the Scenes

The Museum has, what is thought to be, the earliest military photograph in existence. The photograph of Captain George Douglas, of the 93rd Highlanders, is dated c1846 – 1850.
