Trench Mirrors, First World War, 1914-18
Trench Mirrors were used to see round or over obstacles. They could be fixed to the point of a bayonet, sword or stick, which when raised above the lip of the trench, enabled the user to see the enemy without exposing themselves and being fired upon.
