The 91st Argyllshire Highlanders, 1794-1881

The 91st Argyllshire Highlanders was raised in 1794 in response to the perceived threat of the French Revolutionary armies.
We aim to tell you something of the history of this distinguished Regiment of the Line, from its formation until its amalgamation with the 93rd Sutherland Highlanders in 1881.
