Army Cadet Force
NEEDS IMAGE/TEXT What?
-
The
Army Cadet Force is not a
recruiting organisation for the Army - it is the Army's Youth Movement. Cadets
have every opportunity to join the Regulars or Volunteers, but there is no
obligation or pressure to do so.
-
Through the ACF,
Cadets can pursue
the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme, BTEC courses, Adventure Training, Shooting, Pipes & Drums
and many other activities.
-
The
ACF is also looking
for adult instructors - people who are interested in outdoor activities and youth leader work. Military experience is not necessary (training
is given)
